Saskatchewan Roughriders -- All the news on those beloved Riders
Ah, the Saskatchewan Roughriders – possessors of the league’s most vocal and ubiquitous fanbase, the league’s shiniest and spiffiest new stadium, the most ups and down in an CFL team’s history. The Riders started as a top-level football club in 1910 but not win a national championship until ’66, after they’d lost a whopping eight Cup games in the previous 56 seasons. Three more Cups were added to the metaphorical Saskatchewan trophy cases in 1989, 2007, 2013, interspersed between seven losses in the championship match and nine West final Ls. When will the Riders grab the big trophy again? Stick around here for Saskatchewan Roughriders news to find out.
