REDBLACKS release 2020 season schedule

The Ottawa REDBLACKS will kick off their 2020 schedule in front of RNation, hosting eastern division rivals, the Toronto Argonauts, under the lights at TD Place on Friday, June 12 at 7p.m.

The CFL schedule, released Monday, will see the REDBLACKS host four editions of Friday Night Football in Ottawa next year, with three 7p.m. start times and one 7:30p.m. tilt on October 23 against the Calgary Stampeders.

Once again, TD Place will be the perfect place to spend your Saturday evenings cheering on your favorite team with your family and friends in 2020. The REDBLACKS will host three Saturday games, with two 7p.m. matchups and one 4p.m. afternoon game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on October 10.

Ottawa’s two Thursday night games are August 6 against the 2019 Grey Cup Champions, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and September 3rd versus the BC Lions. These Thursday night match-ups also hold some significance as the contest against the Bombers will be REDBLACKS Head Coach Paul LaPolice’s first game against his former team and September 3rd against the Lions will be the return of former head coach, Rick Campbell.

The REDBLACKS road schedule includes four Saturday games, three on Thursdays, and two on Fridays.

Ottawa’s pre-season schedule kicks off on May 29 when the REDBLACKS host the Montreal Alouettes, followed by a road game in Hamilton on June 4.
