 Game festivities will feature a pregame autograph session with the ’99 Grey Cup team, commemorative ’99 Team jersey t-shirts, Rob Hitchcock’s Wall of Honour induction ceremony at halftime & more!

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday that the club’s 1999 Grey Cup team, on the 20th anniversary of their championship season, will be reuniting on Friday, October 4 as part of Rob Hitchcock’s Wall of Honour game festivities, presented by Nissan. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. EDT against the Edmonton Eskimos at Tim Hortons Field.

As part of the Tiger-Cats ongoing season-long celebration of 150 years of professional football in Hamilton, the club will be hosting a pregame autograph session with the ’99 Grey Cup team on the Coors Light Patio, starting at 5:30 p.m. on game day.

Ticats legends Rob Hitchcock, Danny McManus, Joe Montford, Paul Osbalidiston, Mike Morreale, Ronald Williams, Andrew Grigg, Tim Fleiszer, Kyle Walters, Frank Rocca, and many more will be in attendance for the pregame autograph session, before taking to the field for a special pre-kickoff ceremony honouring the team’s championship season.

To commemorate the ’99 Grey Cup team’s reunion, the Tiger-Cats Shop will be selling a collection of limited edition, ’99 Grey Cup anniversary jersey t-shirts featuring all-star safety, Rob Hitchcock, cornerback and current Ticats head coach, Orlondo Steinauer (sample below) and three-time Most Outstanding Defensive Player, Joe Montford. The jersey t-shirts will only be available on game day at the Tiger-Cats Shop flagship store at Tim Hortons Field, as well as merchandise kiosks around the stadium while quantities remain.

The first 5,000 fans to enter Tim Hortons Field on October 4 will also receive a commemorative Rob Hitchcock jersey rally towel, courtesy of Active Green & Ross.

In addition to Rob Hitchcock’s Wall of Honour induction at halftime on October 4, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Alumni Association will be celebrating Hitchcock on the eve of the game, with a Dinner & Roast on Thursday, October 3 on Tim Hortons Field’s Club Level.
