West Division teams to don Kal Tire, BFGoodrich patches in 2019

TORONTO – Canadian Football League (CFL) teams in the West Division will once again don Kal Tire jersey patches for all home games. This year, they’ll be joined by BFGoodrich Tires, whose patches will adorn all away jerseys.

The official tire retailer and tire of the CFL will be showcased on team jerseys for the entire 2019 regular season and playoffs, celebrating with fans and supporting teams and athletes as they vie for the Grey Cup.

“We’re excited to once again feature such proud and longstanding partners at the forefront of our league,” said Tyler Mazereeuw, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer, CFL. “This is a partnership that celebrates the importance of Kal Tire and BFGoodrich’s work in Canadian communities and gives fans access to valuable rewards.”

Through this partnership, fans can get closer to the exciting action of CFL stadiums on game day. For a limited time, beginning September 3rd, those who purchase a set of BFGoodrich tires at any one of Kal Tire’s 165 Canadian locations will instantly receive a pair of tickets to a 2019 or 2020 regular season game of their choice (subject to availability).

“BFGoodrich is about testing endurance and being rewarded with singular experiences, which is why we value working collaboratively to provide hard-working Canadians with an opportunity to enjoy solid play time with the CFL,” said Sylvaine Cuniberti, Canadian Marketing Director for BFGoodrich passenger tires.

“We are proud and excited to once again have the opportunity to bring the Kal Tire and CFL brands together in such an impactful manner. We look forward to more exciting consumer promotions in association with BFGoodrich and the CFL during the 2019 season,” said Greg Waring, VP Marketing at Kal Tire.

Playoffs begin in November as the exciting regular season culminates in a battle to reach the 107th Grey Cup presented by Shaw. Kal Tire and BFGoodrich will be featured prominently on all Western team jerseys throughout the West Semi-Final, which will be held on Sunday, November 10th, the West Final, which will take place on Sunday, November 17th, and the Grey Cup Championship game, played on November 24th at McMahon Stadium in Calgary.
