Eskimo Empire podcast #40 features interview with O Lineman Tony Washington

Now online is episode 40 of the Eskimo Empire Podcast. This time out, Andrew and Uncle Tim are joined by Grey Cup Champion offensive lineman Tony Washington!

Tony tells the boys about starting football in New Orleans and going to Texas after Hurricane Katrina; his journey through Abilene Christian College, where he won his first ring; and this progression through the Arena Football League into the CFL. Tony has been on two Grey Cup teams and he explains what each meant to him. Finally, now that he has moved to Edmonton permanently (at least we hope so), Tony tells the guys about his attachment to the "City of Champions" and the brotherhood of this offensive line.

Post King/McCarty camp, Andrew welcomes Riley into the Turf District to talk about his experience in the camp and gives a very important football “life lesson”. UT and Andrew then wrap the show with their thoughts on the end of the Jason Maas compensation drama while looking forward to the upcoming mini camps and training camp.
