Rouge White and Blue podcast wraps CFL season, Grey Cup; looks to future
The CFL season may be over, but the podcasting goes on! Episode four of the Rouge, White and Blue CFL podcast, co-hosted by yours truly and Joe Pritchard of RougeWhiteAndBlue.blogspot.com, is now available to help quell the pangs of withdrawal on this first – and most difficult – week without Canadian pro football.
First, we take one look back at the fun, frivolity and controversies – among them the ban on Ottawa wood cookies, the new CFL logo and whether halftime band Fallout Boy sucks – of Grey Cup week.
As for the actual game, who could deny the quality of the 103rd Grey Cup? We give some love to the champion Edmonton Eskimos, the favourites who were lost in the shadow of narrative-driven media hype, and wonder why the RedBlacks got *that* conservative after the “Bad Hank” interception toss in the second quarter.
Finally, the future, for the shaping of the 2016 season has already begun with the Argonauts’ wooing of defensive coordinator away from the Calgary Stampeders that he helped earn a Cup of their own.

(*Yes, we will! We’ll talk CFL news, some stuff about that pro football league south of the border and probably whatever else comes to mind…)
