CFL Pass

Sing along with Currah & Fraser on the 2 And Out CFL podcast, episode 26

Now available online – and released (coincidentally?) on election day for the CFL Twitter Awards in the podcasting category – is episode 26 of the 2 and Out CFL podcast.

In what is ostensibly a lower-energy show, co-hosts CFLpass lead writer Travis Currah and Saskatoon-based sports journo John Fraser nevertheless end up performing a spirited (if not particularly slick) rendition of the Edmonton Eskimos fight song and giving the best Canadian election campaign since this guy:

Along the way to this denouement, Currah and Fraser take down a pair of key questions, “What’s the deal with all those Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders free agents?” and “What’s going on with the reported decline in fan interest in the CFL?

Dave Campbell from 630 CHED in Edmonton guests on the show to talk about the West final from the Eskimos’ perspective (naturally) – guess who he’s predicting to win. Campbell also addresses possible prescriptive measures to increasing said CFL popularity from referees to fantasy football.

All this plus “Getting Waxed with Brazilian Ty” and an awesome shoutout to the Baltimore Stallions on the 20th anniversary of their Grey Cup win is available here or by clicking on the banner directly below.

And now, one more time! Everybody sing along!
