2 And Out ep. 21: BlueGolds fan plays drunk GM, ignores MLS

Now available online is episode 21 of the 2 And Out CFL Podcast hosted by CFLpass lead writer Travis Currah and Saskatoon-based sports journo John Fraser, who would like to remind everyone that he is in fact a Winnipeg BlueGolds Blue Bombers fan; to prove it, in fact, he devotes a minute or two of this episode to grouse about Lirim Hajrullahu and Brian Brohm.

In fact, Fraser is in real form for episode 21, so give the man some space to rant about the irrelevance of Major League Soccer and Toronto FC, and hear his pitch for the latest episode of “Drunk General Managers” in an attempt to explain away the Jerome Messam trade in which Currah’s Saskatchewan Roughriders got fairly well fleeced.

Though not quite as vituperative as his co-host, Currah puts forth his own notion that a 1-0 result would indicate the ultimate in CFL games.

And, in addition to the guys; Fantaseh and CFL Pick ‘em tips, we also get name-dropping and samples of Loverboy. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. (Incidentally, has anyone else noticed that the 1980s have become the 1950s of the 2010s?)

(Note to Fraser: Yo, I want one of those “SERGIO 33” jerseys, too!)
