Changes galore in CFL: Sunseri gone; Walker, Nichols to Winnipeg
Not only are the seasons changing with Fall on the horizon, but the winds of change are blowing through the CFL with Labour Day Weekend a few days away.
After Brendan Taman and Corey Chamblin were sent packing, gone too is quarterback Tino Sunseri.

And Rider Nation rejoices.
Chevon Walker sure didn’t take long to find work as he lands in Winnipeg. Offensive coordinator Marcel Bellefeuille will have the tough task of finding Walker space, as there’s where he excels – just keep the tacklers away! The Bombers have found themselves a new pivot as well:

Nichols spent six years in Edmonton with 3,386 passing yards and 19 passing touchdowns (to go along with 18 interceptions). He could never become “the guy” and was overtaken on the depth chart by rookie James Franklin this season.
Thank you @MattNichols16 for the past 6 years as an Edmonton Eskimo

Nichols could be on the roster this Sunday, but Brian Brohm is expected to start with Robert Marve still on the mend.
And Bomber Nation weeps…
