Ronnie Pfeffer lands in Ottawa
After being released by the Toronto Argonauts, it didn’t take long for rookie kicker Ronnie Pfeffer to find another job.

Pfeffer didn’t get released by the Argos because of poor performance – He was simply let go because Swayze Waters got healthy. Pfeffer’s 75% field goal percentage and 44.1 yard average on punts earned him a three-year deal in Ottawa and the deal couldn’t make any more sense, either.
Kicking has been a source of weakness for the RedBlacks this season with *four punters* seeing action already this season. In Pfeffer, Ottawa now has a young Canadian that can kick *and* punt well.
Pfeffer looks to make his Ottawa debut this weekend as the 0-8 Roughriders visit TD Place.
