QB shuffle means bad news for Riders, good news for Bombers
As the Winnipeg Blue Bombers prepare for their Thursday night battle with the surprising BC Lions, they received some very welcome news regarding their quarterback situation.

Brian Brohm is 25 of 47 for 217 yards with four interceptions in relief of Drew Willy this season, so this clearly gives Winnipeg a spark against the Lions tomorrow.
Saskatchewan, on the other hand, received some extremely bad news.

Brett Smith, you’re up.
Smith’s first career start will be at Commonwealth Stadium as the Riders battle the juggernaut Eskimos this Friday.
