Jon Cornish Out for a Month

During Ottawa’s 29-26 upset win over the Calgary Stampeders, the defending champs suffered another major loss.

Matt Walter just became a whole lot more valuable in CFL fantasy football.

While Cornish rushed for 120 yards last week, the offense has been inconsistent for the Stampeders leading them to a 3-2 record on the young season. All three of the wins were nail biters with a margin of victory of only seven points. These are definitely not the 2014 power house Stampeders and the off-season departures of Stanley Bryant, Nik Lewis, Brett Jones and Shawn Lemon are really looking like serious losses for John Hufnagel’s group.

Montreal, Ottawa and Saskatchewan are up next to take on the champs minus Jon Cornish.
