More Bad News in Rider Nation
As though losing Darian Durant on opening day and starting the season 0-3 weren’t bad enough, the injury bug just keeps on attacking the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

As if their defense wasn’t *already* having a tough enough time. Weldon Brown was called the best cover guy on the Roughriders by head coach Corey Chamblin, and Brown proved it when he was on the field against the BC Lions last week. Superstar receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux was kept in check until Brown went down with the pectoral injury.
The Riders have already found their replacement in veteran defensive back Geoff Tisdale, who was recently released by the Montreal Alouettes.
Geoff Tisdale listed as a starting CB. Tryee Hollins is a starter at halfback. #riders #bclions

Saskatchewan and BC are preparing for the second game of a home-and-home set Friday in Regina. It looks like we are in for a hard-hitting, smashmouth game, since these teams are plain old *mad* at each other.
If you have hit someone and their whole season is done on a questionable hit... Have some damn respect!!

The tweet Harris sent is referencing Tristan Jackson’s quote, “They set the tone like that, so I just finished it” after a low hit on Cam Morrah that tore both his ACL and MCL.
There are fireworks any time two football teams play each other in back-to-back weeks so Friday’s clash between the Roughriders and Lions under the lights in Regina will be one of the season’s most physical contests. Count me in!
