Thoughts on CSN’s CFL Top 50 for 2015
This is one of my favourite times of the year. The sun is shining, the days are long, and CFL football is about to start. Hope is in the air, optimism is high and every team has a big zero in the loss column. What's not to like?
Back again this year is CFL on TSN's Top 50. The feature always sparks some intense debates between CFL fans and media and this year is no different.
The #CFLTop50 is riddled with some pretty flagrant mistakes and omissions IMHO. How does Ricky Ray continuously end up so high?

Wait ... how *did* Andre Durie not make the list? But I digress; here's the top ten:
1. Bo Levi Mitchell (Calgary Stampeders)
2. Jon Cornish (Calgary Stampeders)
3. Solomon Elimimian (BC Lions)
4. Adarius Bowman (Edmonton Eskimos)
5. Ricky Ray (Toronto Argonauts)
6. John Chick (Saskatchewan Roughriders)
7. Darian Durant (Saskatchewan Roughriders)
8. Mike Reilly (Edmonton Eskimos)
9. Chad Owens (Toronto Argonauts)
10. Brandon Banks (Hamilton Tiger-Cats)
I do not envy the media that have to vote on this list. This league, as shown by this list, has no shortage of talent. Check out the full list here.

[And now for another prestigious TSN list, namely the “Top 10 Characters of the CFL.” Enjoy! –Ed.]
